FAQ
At In Common, we believe change can stem from something as simple, something as human, as getting dressed each day. We recognize that despite our differences — tastes and locations and ways of tucking our tees — that we all get dressed. We all wear underwear. We all put our pants on one leg at a time. We all like to feel comfortable, confident, and true to our style.
This common ground inspires us daily and defines our reason for being:
To make sustainability affordable for all.
To cultivate a community for progress and positivity.
And to embody the small but meaningful actions that make the world a brighter place.
Better manufacturing processes, sustainable fabrics, fair-wage employment, a modern design led by comfort—and all at a good price.
In Common. We make clothes for the common good.
Our team has more than 60 years of experience in lingerie manufacturing, and we also have some of our own factories. This means that we know our stuff, and we put the utmost care into every component, from underwear lining to elastics, fabric, content and more.
Each of our pieces is slightly different. For details, check out our [Care section] on the bottom of this page.

Care instructions vary by each product and can be found on the product page, but here are some extra tips we find useful:
If you have the time, hand-wash your bras and undies in cold water with detergent made especially for delicates, which will help avoid wear and tear. If you're as busy as us and don't have time to hand wash, you can grab a lingerie bag to toss your items in before they go into the washing machine. We recommend a cold, gentle cycle. Then, lay flat on a drying rack or hang over a waterproof surface. Dry overnight, and by the morning they'll be clean and ready to wear! If you have to use the dryer, we suggest tumble dry low.
